NANCY HANKS has been illuminating neon and argon gas in glass tubing since 1995.  She trained with Maureen Havey in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Ed Waldrum in Irving, Texas. 
 
Hanks' neon sculptures incorporate found objects and abstract colored tubing shapes that combine to convey a unique visual message.
 
In addition to large neon art installations, Hanks has created Neon in a Box™ by installing the complete neon unit within a shadow box that can be easily transported and hung on a wall.
